Mission of the Center
The mission of the Center for Social and Historical Studies of Science is to help to coordinate individual faculty and students working in areas related to science studies at Duke University, to serve as a clearinghouse for information, to provide university resources for activities related to science studies in various disciplines, and thereby to promote both internally and externally the Duke community's engagement with the field of science studies.
